So to update on last week's "laundry incident" . . . I was able to quickly throw my shirt in the washer again and it appears that most of the pink is gone. So the shirt was saved, and I can now laugh at the humor in the situation. I guess what really irked me is that I know my husband knows how to do the laundry, and normally he is a very detail oriented person, who would freak out if I wasn't careful with his clothes. But it was a mistake, and I'm over it, and my husband has forgiven me for my mean outburst as well.

And to follow-up on that expensive shower cleaner my husband purchased . . . well that "power sprayer" that provides a continuous stream of cleaner so that you don't have to exhaust your finger pushing the trigger . . . well go figure, it makes you go through the cleaner a lot faster! The bottle is already empty. It was a genius marketing plan, not only is it more expensive, it also makes you consume more product!

And if you have a moment, make sure you go checkout Mrs. Stoneking's blog for a super nice giveaway!

Don't you love it when your hubby does something that if you did they would freak out. I just always say to my hubby "you know if this was you in this situation you would be so mad, and look at how I am handling it". I know it isn't mature, but whatever!

I'm not surprised that cleaning stuff doesn't last very long. They're good at getting you a cheap product with expensive refills! But if it keeps your bathroom clean, I think it's worth it. Anything not to scrub!

That's great the shirt is salvaged!

Also, that is too funny about the laundry cleaner. That really IS a genius marketing plan.

And that's why my husband is not allowed to do laundry! Ha ha... sorry about your shirt, though. Have you tried Oxiclean? Seriously, it gets out EVERYTHING. It even took horrible soot (we had a fire) out of my son's favorite white stuffed animal, and mud out of my brand new white tennis shoes - back to looking new again! Good luck. Can't wait to hear about your match. :)

glad the shirt survived ... I had a similar moment last night when my husband first put my fave pair of cords in the dryer, and then while cooking dinner I realized he also deleted one of my shows I hadn't watched on the DVR ... it didn't help that I was already exhausted/grumpy. oh the men in our lives :)
